Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High NAF Academy of Finance is training students to get a head start on their finances. By preparing students as young as 14-years old in ninth grade for financial success, it puts their financial knowledge above the average for a high school student. Former economics teacher-turned-real estate investor, Jake Butler and academy lead teacher, Ms. Deborah Simmons have teamed up to further the education of students. Butler volunteers his time now, showing kids how to make a lot of money with just a little. This is the financial literacy program’s second year at Krop and the goal is to extend it to other schools.
