Students that are part of the Business and Technology Program taking technology and Dual Enrollment
courses have the opportunity to visit and tour FIU and attend a Q &A session to assist them in career
planning. In addition to preparing basic tax returns, students improve customer service skills, and learn to apply tax law to
numerous questions and scenarios. This is an amazing experience for the students who participate in the VITA
program. It also showcases our school and our CTE program.
