Every year, Cisco supports Girls in ICT Day at the numerous headquarters around the globe. International Girls in ICT Day is an initiative backed by all ITU Member States in ITU Plenipotentiary Resolution 70 (Rev. Dubai, 2018), it aims to encourage and empower girls and young women to consider studies and careers in the growing field of ICTs, enabling both girls and technology companies to reap the benefits of greater female participation in the ICT sector. This year Cisco held Girl Power Tech all around the country and opened their doors to schools and young women all over the world and inspire them to pursue careers in STEM through hands-on exposure to the latest technology and engagement with industry professionals.
