On May 23, 2024, the Academy of Hospitality & Tourism (AOHT) Advisory Board celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2024 with a special graduation ceremony at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. This memorable event provided an opportunity for graduates to commemorate their achievements alongside their families and peers.
The ceremony was not only a celebration for AOHT graduates but also included support for the NAF Academy of Education and NAF Academy of Arts & Entertainment, whose students were also in attendance. Dr. Beatrice Gonzalez, Campus President of Miami Dade College Wolfson, warmly greeted all attendees, setting a tone of pride and encouragement for the graduates.
A highlight of this year’s ceremony was the inaugural pinning ceremony for Academy of Education graduates who are continuing their journey to pursue education majors. This new tradition added a special touch to the event, symbolizing the graduates’ commitment to their future careers in education.
In recognition of their hard work and dedication, over $20,000 in scholarships were awarded to the Class of 2024. These scholarships will provide crucial financial support as the graduates embark on their next steps in higher education and their professional lives.
